Hi All,

It’s my great pleasure to invite you to a Cambodian Festival that will take place at the Immigration Museum (400 Flinders St, Melbourne) on Sunday 14th September 11am - 4pm.

Please come along and enjoy the experience of Cambodian culture and Khmer traditions through dance, music, ritual and food. This one-day festival celebrating the Cambodian community in Victoria includes children’s activities, cooking demonstrations, traditional games and fun for all!

I will be a MC there. So if you see me on that day, don’t forget to say hi and have your camera ready. You know I’m about to tell you a top secret : ) Oh! Just kidding, not a secret but the truth is that I hope you could take a good photo of me on the stage.

Many of us, especially John, don’t know what I’m doing. Some may wonder why I seem to be very busy and sometimes look like not having enough sleep. Now, let me take this opportunity to briefly let you know something about me.

It’s true. I have a lot of things to do. As FairFax paper describes me, I’m a full time student, having a part time job and involving with some volunteering tasks. I volunteer for a charity organisation and involve with lots of activities that most of them are Cambodian related.

Last month was a very busy month but also a very successful one in terms of volunteering services. However, I felt a bit …. that I wasn’t able to fully participate in class. BUT you know, many unfortunate out there need our support. One month of working harder than usual can save thousands of lives. You too can make a difference!

Feel free to ask me HOW.

Vymala! All your hard work is about to pay off...so much more time for homework soon! WE don't know what you're doing - unless your image appears in the local paper - 'cos you're very secretive (and violent - ha ha). Anyway, the very best of luck for the day. If my back and homework allow I might come down - esp since there's food.
